Gwyneth vs Eva

Welcome to a fun new experiment - I finally found a way to indulge my fascination with all things celebrity, and at the same time, actually learn something along the way!

It was quite an interesting coincidence that Gwyneth Paltrow and Eva Longoria (two equally-lovely, but very different actresses!) launched their first cookbooks last month. Both Gynnie & Eva went on promotional tours that read like a who's who of designer fashion - Eva wore Victoria Beckham on The View, Gwyneth wore Allesandra Dell'Aqua on Live with Regis & Kelly, they each posed ever so pretty at Williams Sonoma, and signed copies of their cookbooks at Barnes & Noble.

But I was left wondering... just how good are these celebrity cookbooks? And so the Gwyneth vs Eva experiment was born!

Each week, I will select similar recipes from each cookbook - and using my basic culinary skills, follow the recipes to the letter, and using my own rating system, determine the weekly winner - Gwyneth or Eva. It's not just the finished product, I will review the process as well - shopping for the ingredients, the preparation and of course, taste!
